Bizarre.....

Been feeling strange last few days... Just the amount of Uni work I have piled on and no interest in getting it done is frustrating me out within... I mean, I know I have to do it - I don't have an option.. It's just.. I don't want to. LOL.

The weather in this part of the world is clearing up, maybe the sunshine will equip me with the energy boost I so desperately require right now. I feel like I have been a hobbit and it's gotten too much. I miss my friends. I miss fresh air. I miss getting up and just embracing the day - however cheesy and cliched that may sound.

So.. here's to more sunshine, froyo trips, movie nights, long flowy skirts and sandals. Summer can't come any sooner.

.......Then we'll think think about the exams. -sighs-

Random rant

Happiness is subjective, right?

So, why does society make/exemplify something, anything, the ultimate way of attaining it? ..I mean, our whole life is pretty much decided from the moment we're born.... go to school, get a degree, find a job, get married, have kids, retire and die. Hypothtically speaking of course, nobody's got a guranteed tomorrow.

Maybe it's just an Asian thing. Soon as you hit mid-20s, there's the added pressure of getting married... as though holy matrimony is your answer to enternal happiness and otherwise you can never be. Of course these days even that's full of irony.

Anyway, I wish people would just stop enforcing thier ideas on others. Especially random manipulative aunties.

Thankfully there is sometime before I hit my mid-20s ^____________^ ..#shukar.

Lady: we've been trying to conceive for a while now and have been told to look for other options now..like donation and ...you just seem right!
Annie: excuse me?
Lady: Annie, we'd like to buy your eggs.

Sister *mumbles before switching channels*: Yea, buy her eggs, she's a hen.
